It is important to remember that just because the potential buyers of your can haven't been able to evaluate it themselves doesn't mean that you can describe an old banger as being in excellent unmarked condition just to secure a better price.
Of course don't go over the top when describing any faults, but it is important to be honest. Any buyer worth their salt will inspect your car on completion and if it isn't as described (within reason) then they would be within their rights to offer a lower amount or withdraw from the sale altogether.
If your car has a couple of scratches, trolley dents, stone chips, scuffed alloys etc... let potential buyers know with a brief description. If it doesn't have full service history...please don't say it has. The buyer will soon discover this to be a lie on collection when they check all the paper work.
Equally make sure you let them know about any items that may add value to the car, i.e. brand new tyres, a recent service, climate control etc...
Here at Car Arena we aim to make it as easy as possible for you describe your car, we will discuss your vehicles condition, optional extras and service history over the phone, as long as you are honest in the way the vehicle is described than you can be certain the offer you receive will be genuine and can be compared on a like for like basis when selecting the best deal for you.
